Symmetrical and high rigid construction for high speed model:VTL-650/850-1000 series

Compound slide and extra-wide box ways
This slide units have been designed to meet heavy workload demands in respect to performance and accuracy. Slides are guided by pre-loaded ball screws for maximum precision. The X axis, which governs machining accuracy on the diameters is fitted with a direct coupled Fanuc serial encoder feedback for slide positioning.

Powerful maintenance-free AC motors are used for the feed drives, accelerating the slides to maximum traverse speed in the shortest possible time. These drives provide maximum slide thrust for all cutting situations.

Rugged construction provides greater accuracy for deeper cuts
While operating at full load capacity, the VTLs rugged construction minimizes vibration and maintains alignment, which is ideal for high speed and heavier cuts.

p High capacity spindle
High speed spindle is supported by advanced, rigid double row cylindrical roller bearings and angular contact ball bearings. Special sealing structure protects spindle form contaminating elements during machining.

Electrical cabinet
Heat exchanger for electrical cabinet to maintain room temperature inside the cabinet under severe working condition.

Cyclone VTL high speed series machines are especially designed for machining disc brake on both side simultaneously in order to reach the parallelism requirements for car industry. Y-axis is equipped in the turret with an AC servo motor to lift one of the cutting edge, which will not leave a return mark on the disc brake.

Easy access and maintenance
Lubrication reservoir, control keys, gauging meters are all located at the front side of the machine for easy operation. Spindle orientation encoder and belts are easily to maintenance by opening the cvoer positioned at the front door.
