HEADSTCK The spindle and gears used
in the headstock are made of Cr-Mo materials, which has been
heat treated to Rockwell RC-60, with a high precision ground
finish.
The spindle has three gear ranges (L/M/H) which are controlled
by the CNC without manual changing. This makes for a quieter
operation and due to it’s automatic gear change the gears
have a longer life expectancy.
