HEAVY DUTY & HIGH ACCURACY DESIGN
The structure of the bed designed with Meehanite casting iron provides the machine with heavy cutting and maintains high accuracy.
Even a long bar workpiece without tailstock support can be maintained within 0.004mm.
The cross and longitudinal slideways are hardened and ground, and finished with Turcite to ensure smooth movement.

BI-DIRECTIONAL ELECTRIC 4 WAY TURRET
A reliable and fast bi-directional electric four way turret is equipped as a standard accessory. This unique turret can tolerate heavy cuts and the index repeatability is within 0.003mm. The turret will automatically change tools tailoring with spindle speed change to reach full CNC control features.

Sauter Brand 8 Station electrical turret is optional.

HEADSTOCK
The spindle and gears used in the headstock are made by Cr-Mo materials, which have been through heat treatment to Rockwell RC-60, and high precision grinding finished.
The spindle speed has three range (L/M/H) which is controlled by CNC without manual change, for less noise than competitors' machines. Moreover, due to it's automatic change functions, the gears have a longer life.

ELECTRICAL CABINET AND WIRINGS
The machine is equipped with Fagor CNC controls. The wirings inside the electrical cabinet are neat and easy to maintain, and are in conformity with CE specs. Heat exchanger is included.

TAILSTOCK
The FB-1840T4 tailstock with quill travel 150mm on FB-1840 and 1860, and tailstock with quill travel 180mm and center MT#5 taper on FB-2140, FB-2160, FB-2180, FB-2540, FB-2560 and FB-2580.

POSITIONING AND REPEATABILITY
The positioning accuracy is 0.003mm. Pitch 0.5mm thread and Imperial thread 56TPI are able to reach in this machine.
